| Service Description |
This service allows citizens, residents, and visitors to receive support for postgraduate studies in Waqf field. This support is presented among the activities of the Project of Supporting Postgraduate Students in Waqf Field, a project undertaken by the State of Kuwait as the Coordinating State of Waqf Affairs in the Islamic World. This service aims at:
Reviving the scientific research movement in all the Waqf field
Generating selected researchers specialized in the Waqf field
Providing contemporary scientific sources in the Waqf field
Enriching the libraries with new sources and valuable additions to Waqf Index by building an information database in the Waqf field |

| Eligibility or Criteria |
|
The applicant must be a postgraduate student wishing to obtain the master's or the doctorate degree
|

|
| The applicant student must present a research plan approved by the university he is studying in or the scientific thesis supervisor |
- |
|
| The topic of the scientific thesis being prepared by the applicant student must be in the Waqf field |
- |
|
The thesis must be on new topics in the Waqf field and its different areas as defined in the framework of the strategic vision for the advancement of Waqf and it must serve its objectives
Note: Any thesis plan that is not in the scope of the Waqf field will not be approved and will be denied by the Scientific Committee |

| Certificate issued from an acknowledged university stating the registration of the applicant student to obtain the master's or the doctorate degree and the acceptance of the thesis topic |

| Study plan approved by the concerned entity in the university or the scientific thesis supervisor |
- |

| Applicant's curriculum vitae |
- |
|
| Recommendations of three professors who taught the applicant student in the most recent educational study |
- |
|
| Copy of the most recent educational certificate attested by the official entities or an equivalent |
- |
|
| Another certificate issued from an acknowledged university stating the registration of the applicant student to obtain the scientific degree |

| Two (2) recent personal photos |
- |

| Procedures |

Fill the service application form and send it to the following e-mail address hscommittee@awqaf.org. Or, fill the service application form, print the form and send it with the required documents to the following address of the headquarters of the Scientific Committee on Support of Postgraduate Students in Waqf Field: Headquarters of the Scientific Committee on Support of Postgraduate Students in Waqf Field - Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation - Al Dasma - Division No.6 - Mangaf Street. Or, fill and print the service application form, then, visit the headquarters of the Scientific Committee on Support of Postgraduate Students in Waqf Field at Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation and submit the required documents |

The Scientific Committee on Support of Postgraduate Students in Waqf Field evaluates the request as per the terms and conditions regulating the service. Then, the applicant student will be informed with the evaluation result. In case the request receives approval, the applicant must personally sign several declarations on the support at the Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation headquarters or send the signed declarations via fax or e-mail |
