Service Description

This service allows you to prove a revocable divorce, whether first or second or third-time divorce, pursuant to a court judgment or a foreign document issued outside Kuwait

Eligibility or Criteria

One of the proof parties or his/her agent must attend the procedures

Ministry of Foreign Affairs authentication must be obtained, in case the divorce occurred outside Kuwait

Either the husband or the wife with a foreign document must have the Kuwaiti nationality

Required Documents

Copy of the marriage contract

Letter from the Executive Committee and the personal identification for illegal resident applicants

Notification of judgment annotated with the execution formula

Certificate of non-appeal

Civil IDs of the Kuwaiti husband and wife

Civil IDs or passports of the resident applicants

Appeal judgment, in case of an appeal

Certificate that no cassation is filed, in case of an appeal

Ministry of Foreign Affairs authentication, if the divorce occurred outside Kuwait

Visit Riggai Court Complex or Ahmadi Court Complex or Mubarak Al-Kabeer Office or Jahra Office or the Legitimate Authentication Department and submit the required documents.
