Hamas politburo chief Khaled Mishal held
talks, in Doha on Friday, with Qatari Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani
on Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails currently on hunger strike and the
Palestinian conciliation.
The meeting aims at affirming that Palestinian prisoners' issue was top
priority of the Palestinian people, a statement by Hamas here said.
The delegation of Hamas underscored, during their meeting with the Qatari
Amir, the importance of unity of all Palestinian factions coupled with
official and popular Arab support, all for the prisoners' issue.
The Hamas and Qatari sides, added the statement, agreed that it was highly
important to bring about success for the Palestinian conciliation and
creationg suitable environment to implement it. |
