A Syrian opposition party Friday called on
UN-Arab League envoy Kofi Annan to announce failure of his mission, and to
declare that the Damascus regime did not implement any of his six-point plan,
including the release of prisoners.
The free Syrian party urged Annan, in a statement available here, to
realize that the Syrian blood was not a tool for political gains.
It called upon the international community to exercise pressure on the
Syrian regime to release all male and female political prisoners, including
female student Majd Murad.
The party urged the Syrian regime to disclose whereabouts of Murad and held
it responsible for her safety. |
