Israeli gunboats attacked Palestinian fishermen
off Gaza beach on Saturday inflicting damage in the fishermen boats but no
casualties, security sources said.
The sources told KUNA the fishermen were targeted with shells and automatic
gunfire while they were trying to earn their daily bread off the town of
Rafah. No was hurt but a number of boats, fishing nets and other tools were
damaged.
Israeli gunboats often attack the fishermen off Gaza at pretext of
exceeding the three nautical miles limits, set by Tel Aviv as boundaries for
the fishermen where they are allowed to fish. |
