A senior police officer early on Friday came
under attack while traveling to his office in Pakistan's northern Peshawar
city. However, he remained unhurt but a passer-by was wounded.
According to police reports, Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) Banaras
Khan was traveling to his office in his official vehicle when his car hit a
roadside bomb in Chughalpura area of Peshawar city.
The DSP remained unhurt in the attack but a passer-by received injuries. He
was shifted to a nearby hospital and is said to be in stable condition. |
