Yukiya Amano, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Sunday has ruled out a visit to Parchin military site during his visit to Iran. Prior to his departure to Tehran on Sunday, Amano told the press that he did not expect to visit Iranian Parchin military site, southeast of Tehran, noting at the same time that he was optimistic toward talks with Iranian officials, set to be hold on Monday. However, he affirmed that this visit, the first since taking post as chief of IAEA in 2009, would contribute in reaching an "organized" plan that would answer the questions of international inspectors on Iranian nuclear activities. Amano is set to meet with Saeed Jalili, Iran's chief nuclear negotiator, on Monday, which is two days before the upcoming planned new round of negotiations between Iran and the six major powers, which is to take place in Baghdad.
