Thirteen Syrians, including one woman, were killed
by regime forces' fire in Hama, Deir Al-Zour, Homs, Daraa, Aleppo, and Idleb,
Local Coordination Committees (LCC) said on Tuesday.
The committees noted that escalation of military campaigns and violence by
pro-government forces in Syrian cities has caused a migration movement among
local residents, who fled to neighboring villages to avoid random shelling and
gunfire.
It said that regime forces stormed number of cities that had
anti-government demonstrations, adding that forces raided residential houses
and agricultural lands, followed by heavy gunfire in search for activists and
dissident soldiers.
In Keswa district, outside Damascus, LCC said that government forces shot
fire at several people who gathered to meet with UN international observers'
mission, who stayed in the town for only five minutes before the gunfire
started. |
