Kuwait gov't, petroleum council meet over K-Dow contract
KUWAIT -- The ministers and supreme petroleum council members also
discussed the legal consequences that resulted from the cancellation of the
contract, and how PIC sought international law firms' expertise which
contributed to reducing the amount of compensation requested by Dow Chemicals.
The meeting dealt with possible means to dealing with the court ruling in a
way that would minimize damage and losses.
The cabinet, said Sheikh Sabah, would meet tomorrow morning to continue the
discussion of all details regarding K-Dow contract case and those responsible
ahead of taking the appropriate measures. |
