A Palestinian man died of serious wounds he
sustained in an Israeli air strike that targeted a group of people east of
Khan Youness town, south of Gaza Strip, on Friday.
Naji Qudaih, 34, died of his wounds he sustained when a lone Israeli
aircraft fired a missile at a group of Palestinians boarding a three-wheel
vehilce in Absan which injured two others, according to Adham Abu Salmiah,
spokesman of the supreme medical emergency committee in the strip.
Qudaih was rushed to Gaza European hospital in Khan Youness and admitted to
the intensive care unit. He passed away later.
The other inuured were receiving treatment, and one of them is in critical
condition, said Abu Salmiah.
The Israeli army launched its air strike hours after a soldier and a
Palestinian gunman were killed in a clash east of Khan Youness.
Israel handed over the body of the Palestinian gunman, Ahmad Abu Nasr, 20,
to the Palestinians. |
