Turkish President Abdullah Gul here on Monday
met with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, who is currently
visiting the country to take part in the regional meetings of the Davos' World
Economic Forum (WEF).
According to Turkish Ikhlas News Agency, Abbas has provided Gul with
information on latest updates on Palestinian arena during their talks, adding
that the discussions also addressed formation of Palestinian National
Reconciliation Government, current developments in the Syrian file and
improving bilateral relations with Turkey.
Abbas is expected to meet today with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip
Erdogan and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.
He is due to deliver a speech at WEF on Tuesday. |
