Some 22 killed by gov't forces in Syria

Twenty two Syrians, including three women, were killed by pro-government forces' fire in Homs, Latakia, Aleppo and Idleb, Local Coordination Committees (LCC) said on Sunday. The committees said that six people, including three women, were killed in Defeel village and Rowaisa district in Latakia due to the regime forces' violent shelling. In Daraa, LCC announced defection of three soldiers from regime army and joining free army, noting at the same time shelling of Al-Towba mosque, burning of a Quran House, and burning of five houses in Deir Al-Zour. Also, heavy gunfire was heard in Othman village in Daraa, amid heavy siege and news of death of two and injury of others during regime forces' storming of the village.
