Five fire squads have managed to put out a fire
that caught a 19-storey building under construction in central Kuwait.
The conflagration first caught the 17th storey and then spread to the 19th
storey. It also spread to three neighboring buildings, a fire squad official
told KUNA.
"The fire has been put under control. Two firemen were injured, with one
being treated on the spot and the other was taken to hospital," General Fire
Administration's Public Relations Chief Colonel Khalil Al-Ameer.
The fire left two firemen wounded and caused material damage, he added.
