The Kuwaiti Embassy in Dakar handed over 1000 food
packages to several charities to distribute to needy people.
"This generous aid was sent by Kuwait Finance House and Zakat House to poor
people in Senegal," Kuwait Ambassador Hamad Bu-Rahma said in a press statement.
Bu-Rahma said that Kuwait Finance House and Zakat House are sending similar
aid on annual basis on the occasion of the holy fasting month of Ramadan.
For his part, the Ambassador thanked the two Kuwaiti institutions for their
contributions and aid to Senegalese people and all needy people across the
world.
He also noted that Kuwait government and non-government institutions
finance several charity and development projects in Senegal.
Ambassador Bu-Rahma also greeted His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh
Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, government and people on the approaching Eid
Al-Fitr. |
