Service Description

  • This service allows the issuance of health licenses for food stores

Eligibility or Criteria

  • The location must be valid for the activity

Required Documents

  • Written letter from the applicant
  • Copy of the lease contract or an equivalent
  • Copy of the commercial license for the office of the store

Procedures

Visit the Municipality governorate branch concerned with the service - Permits for Municipal Services Department - Permits for Municipal Services Inspection - Health Certificate Section and submit the required documents
Fill the Construction Department application form
Visit the Inspection and Follow-up Department for checking the real estate and preparing a report
Visit the Construction Department to complete the form issued from the License Department, then recheck the License Department. You will receive a letter directed to Kuwait Fire Service ‎Directorate for issuing fire extinguishment license from the Prevention Department
Visit the Department of Licenses again to have the store checked and ensure how far it confirms to the health terms and conditions
Pay the fees due. Then, the store health license will be issued
