  • This service is provided by the Ministry to prevent the pollution of the navigable water with oil and to control pollution that occurs within the Kuwait's territorial water; taking the person who is responsible for this pollution to the official authorities to take the necessary actions

Procedures

Report the pollution incidents in the territorial water to the Maritime Affairs Department
Report the pollution incidents to the concerned authorities; the coastguard, watchtowers, environmental control, and coming vessels to take the necessary actions
The surveyor goes to the scene of the accident, prepares a report, and reports the accident to the responsible authorities
Remove the effects of pollution and take the responsible person to the concerned authorities
