Registration System for Kuwaiti Companies, Training Institutes, and Institutions Operating in the Field of Information Technology

Service Description

  • Entities, institutions, or companies wishing to work in the government information technology sector must register following the procedures, regulations, and timelines specified by the Central Agency for Information Technology.

Eligibility or Criteria

  • The registration is entirely done through the website. www.cait.gov.kw

Required Documents

  • The required documents must be clear and in the PDF format as follows: -
  • Memorandum of Association and latest amendment
  • Valid commercial license
  • Chamber of Commerce and Industry Certificate for the current year
  • Certificate of the percentage of national employment for non-governmental entities issued by the Public Authority for Manpower
  • Summary of the company or institution’s activities (Profile).
  • Valid and registered power of attorneys and cooperation agreements concluded with international or local entities and translated into Arabic by an accredited office if they are in English
  • Concluded contracts and their annexes related to the field of IT, provided that the date of signing them is not more than 10 years ago, and that the English contracts are translated into Arabic by an accredited office
  • Data and CVs for specialized workers in the field of IT for Kuwaiti and non-Kuwaiti
  • Company’s financial status (a copy of the latest budget) certified by a financial audit office
  • Notes:
  • If the registration fees are not paid within one month of the certificate's approval, the certificate will be cancelled, and the company must re-register and wait for the file to be reviewed.
  • It is necessary to add the correct contact numbers.
  • It is necessary to read the PDF file for the technical fields that the Central Agency for Information Technology provide to companies working in the field of IT. The company must select the correct field of expertise in accordance with the attached contracts and agencies.
  • Training institutes must have a valid power of attorney specific to the required training field and provide a certificate from the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training and a certificate for whomever it may concern from the Public Authority for Civil Information.

​Entities, institutions, or companies wishing to work in the government information technology sector must register following the procedures, regulations, and timelines specified by the Central Agency for Information Technology​

​All necessary data for the registration process, along with the necessary instructions for each statement and the required supporting documents for each, are provided through the automated system​

​The Central Agency for Information Technology is developing an integrated system for documenting, storing, and retrieving data and information related to registration systems. Annual reports are issued to senior management and government entities upon request.​

​A media program using available means to introduce the system, its benefits, the standards followed, and the necessary procedures, will be adopted and published on the Central Agency's website and the official government portal.​

Registration fees of 35 KD must be paid through the government electronic payment system (Tasdeed) after the certificate is approved. ​Fixed Fees
