Lufthansa pilot strike cancels hundreds of flights at German airports

Pilots at Lufthansa began a two-day strike Monday, called by the Cockpit Association, leading to hundreds of flight cancellations at major German airports. The union said the strike affects Lufthansa, Lufthansa Cargo, Lufthansa CityLine and Eurowings, disrupting air traffic within 48 hours at key airports including Frankfurt Airport, Munich Airport and Berlin Airport. Last Friday, Fraport reported near-total disruption at Frankfurt Airport due to a cabin crew strike by the UFO Union following stalled wage talks with Lufthansa.
