Based on the directives of HH Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah to move towards the establishment of an e-government, the Environment Public Authority has launched its website with an eye to building bridges of cooperation between various organizations, whether governmental or of the private sector, as well as between individuals, whether citizens , residents, businessmen or tourists. The authority also aims to provide effective e-services that meet the daily-life requirements and needs that are relevant to the environment. This is through an accurate scientific method and a simple easy manner that benefit both students and researchers and at the same time acceptable to the non-professional site visitor. Our site, ( www.epa.org.kw ), is not only a website concerned with environmental issues, it is also a comprehensive portal that has been designed with care for environment lovers, researchers and those how show an interest in the environment inside and outside of Kuwait, with a view to providing our users with all the domestic environmental developments. This includes offering all updates about the environmental situation, providing a comprehensive environmental database that includes digital maps of Kuwait, a complete GIS (Geographic Information System) for environmental purposes, an environmental Atlas for all governorates with complete lists of water, soil and air data and creating digital maps for all Kuwaiti regions based on satellite images.

Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources. The Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources was established under the law No. 94, for the year 1983. It was established to carry out the work related to agricultural development and advancement; both in the plant or livestock sectors. It was also established for the development and protection of fish resources, as well as designing, supervising and following up on landscaping and afforestation of roads, yards, public gardens, parks, afforestation areas, and zoos.

Kuwait Environment Protection Society was founded on March 31, 1974. The start was upon the First UN Conference on the Human Environment (Stockholm, Sweden 1972). The conference adopted several resolutions and recommendations which resulted in finding The United Nations Environment Programme as an international institution headquartered in Nairobi. It also encouraged establishing public-benefit associations that deal with protecting the environment and eliminating the causes of pollution on both local and regional levels.
