Equivalency for Transfer from General Education to Religious Institutes

Service Description

  • This service allows citizens to obtain equivalency certificate for transfer from General Education to Religious Institutes

Eligibility or Criteria

  • Transfer from General Secondary Education to the Religious Institute:
  • A student who passes Grade 10 (First Secondary) transfers to Grade 11 (Second Secondary), provided they successfully pass a written exam in the Grade 10 subjects of the Religious Institutes, namely:
  • Islamic Studies: (Holy Qur’an, Fiqh, Tafsir, Hadith, Terminology, and Tawheed)
  • Arabic Language: (Grammar & Morphology, Criticism & Rhetoric)
  • A student who passes Grade 11 (Second Secondary) transfers to Grade 12 (Third Secondary), provided they successfully pass a written exam in the Grade 11 subjects of the Religious Institutes, namely:
  • Islamic Studies: (Holy Qur’an, Fiqh, Tafsir, Hadith, Terminology, and Tawheed)
  • Arabic Language: (Grammar & Morphology)
  • A student who passes Grade 12 (Third Secondary – Literary or Scientific) is registered in Grade 12 (Third Secondary), provided they successfully pass a written exam in the Grade 11 subjects of the Religious Institutes, namely:​Islamic Studies: (Holy Qur’an, Fiqh, Tafsir, Hadith, Terminology, and Tawheed)
  • A holder of a General Secondary Certificate (Literary or Scientific) is registered in Grade 12 (Third Secondary) without the need to pass an equivalency exam.
