Service Description

  • This service allows citizens who are about to obtain the stamp of residency in the State of Kuwait to issue health insurance cards and register in the health insurance automated system

Eligibility or Criteria

  • The applicant, sponsor, or official representative of the sponsor must attend in person


  • Data of the applicant residents working in the private sector, the applicants joining a provider, and some of the applicant servants must be registered in the health insurance automated system after cash payment  


  • Data of the applicant employees in the governmental entities and the Zakat House must be registered in the health insurance automated system with an official letter from the entity concerned  


  • Data of the applicant servants must be registered in the health insurance automated system after paying the fees in stamps

Required Documents

  • Copy of the civil ID of the sponsor
  • One (1) personal photo (4 × 6 cm)
  • Copy of the work permit or the visa

Procedures

Visit one of the five Health Insurance Centers depending on your place of residence, and submit the required documents to register your data in the health insurance automated system. The applicant, sponsor, or official representative of the sponsor can attend in person
After registering the data in the health insurance automated system, the health insurance notification will be stamped and signed by the authorized employee in the Health Insurance Department. Then, you will receive the notification form to submit it to the Ministry of Interior in order to have the residency stamp printed
