Public Manpower Authority conducts inspection campaign in Kabd, arrests 47 violators

The Public Authority for Manpower announced on Wednesday that it carried out an inspection campaign in Kabd area of Jahra Governorate targeting undocumented workers, in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Interior. In a press statement, the Public Authority for Manpower said the campaign resulted in the arrest of 47 violators, noting that legal measures were taken against them and they were referred to the competent authorities. It stressed that such campaigns are part of their ongoing efforts to regulate the labor market and curb illegal labor, adding that inspection drives will continue across various regions of the country in coordination with relevant entities. The authority also urged employers and workers to comply with laws and regulations to avoid legal accountability, affirming its commitment to enforcing the law in a manner that ensures justice and preserves the rights of all parties.
