Three Palestinians were killed and several others injured in two separate Israeli occupation airstrikes targeting Gaza City in the north and Khan Younis, Palestinian health authorities said on Sunday.
In Gaza City, a Palestinian was killed and several others were wounded when an Israeli occupation drone struck a tent sheltering displaced civilians in the Al-Shati refugee camp.
Eyewitnesses told KUNA that Israeli drones fired two missiles at a tent located in the courtyard of Ibn Sina School in northern Al-Shati camp, west of Gaza City, killing one person and injuring several civilians.
Witnesses said the school was crowded with displaced families at the time of the strike. Ambulance crews rushed to the site, provided first aid to the wounded and transported them to hospitals for treatment, while children, women and displaced families experienced widespread fear and panic.
In Khan Younis, an Israeli strike targeted a group of Palestinians, killing an eight-year-old girl and another person and leaving four others critically injured, according to local health officials.
The Gaza Strip has witnessed intensified Israeli military operations across northern and southern areas, amid accusations of violations of the ceasefire agreement that entered into force in October last year.
