Lebanon's Public Health Ministry announced on Sunday that the death toll from Israeli occupation attacks on Lebanon has risen to 4,322.
In its daily report, the ministry's Emergency Operations Center said the cumulative toll from Israeli attacks between March 2 and July 12 reached 4,322 fatalities and 12,219 injuries.
Meanwhile, Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported that Israeli forces shelled the entrance to the town of Zawtar Al-Sharqiya with artillery while carrying out intensive machine-gun fire, in addition to shelling the town of Kfartebnit.
The agency also said Israeli forces demolished several houses in the town of Majdal Zoun and continued destroying homes in the city of Bint Jbeil.
Lebanon has witnessed a major military escalation since March 2, marked by intensive Israeli airstrikes across the country that have killed and wounded thousands, caused widespread destruction to residential buildings and infrastructure, and displaced hundreds of thousands of people.
The Israeli attacks have continued despite Lebanon's signing of a trilateral framework agreement with the United States and Israel at the conclusion of the fifth round of Lebanese-Israeli talks mediated by Washington, during which both sides expressed their aspiration to end the conflict.
