Egypt condemns renewed Iranian attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan

Egypt strongly condemned the repeated Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Jordan, as well as facilities belonging to the four countries. In a statement on Monday, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attacks constitute an unacceptable violation of the sovereignty of the four countries and a direct threat to their security and territorial integrity. The ministry added that the attacks also represent a dangerous escalation that could further widen tensions and instability in the region. Egypt reiterated its firm rejection of any practices that undermine the security of fellow Arab states or endanger their peoples and facilities, expressing its full solidarity with Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Jordan and its support for all measures aimed at safeguarding their security and stability. The ministry also stressed the need for an immediate end to the attacks, respect for international law and the principles of good neighborliness, and efforts to spare the region from further escalation.
