Kuwaiti Employment Program at the World Bank

Service Description

  • The program's primary goal is to increase the number of Kuwaiti employees at the World Bank by providing job opportunities for young Kuwaitis to work at the World Bank for a one year, renewable for another year. During this period, their skills will be developed, and they will gain practical experience that will qualify them for positions at the World Bank after the program's completion.  The program is distinguished by being directed at the countries of the Middle East and North Africa, as job opportunities are provided to these countries in accordance with their needs. The program targets distinguished and promising national cadres with little experience, and those who are still at the beginning of their career. 

Eligibility or Criteria

  • Applicants must have a master's degree and at least two years of relevant experience.

  • Applicants must have good knowledge of English and good knowledge of another language desired by the World Bank, including Arabic, Chinese, French, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

  • The World Bank is responsible for selecting and hiring those who are accepted.
