Required Documents

  • Copy of the company's memorandum of association - if available
  • Extract of the company's commercial registration (must be current) - if available
  • Copy of the trade license - if available
  • Copy of the signature approval - if available
  • Copy of Civil ID
  • Managing Company Contract - if available
  • Copy of Property Ownership Contract/(Lease/Investment) Contract
  • Criminal Status Sheet of the License Applicant
  • Tourist / Cadastral Plan
  • Structural Plan
  • Economic Feasibility Study
  • Acknowledgment and undertaking not to practice hotel activity
  • Acknowledgment and undertaking to receive the classification criteria
  • A letter issued by the concerned party including a request for the issuance of approval from the Ministry of Information addressed to the Kuwait Municipality, as well as the conformity of the required classification to the hotel standards in accordance with the standards approved by the Ministry
  • Pledge - not to practice the activity until the issuance of the license of the Ministry of Information
