Service Description

  • This service allows visitors, residents and citizens to have lab tests, x-rays and clinical checkups to determine their fitness and ability to perform the tasks of the job they applied for.

Eligibility or Criteria

  • The job candidate applicant must be (18) years of age or older.
  • The job candidate applicant must have medical examination forms or a referral letter from the employer to which he/she is nominated for work, approved by the Undersecretary of that entity or his/her representative, with a personal photo attached and stamped with the seal of the employer.
  • The job candidate’s job title must be clearly and specifically stated in the medical examination form or the nomination letter.
  • The job candidate applicant (expatriate candidates in the business sector) must pay the prescribed fees for the service.​

Required Documents

  • A transfer letter from the employer.
  • Two (2) medical examination forms to which a personal photo is attached and sealed by the seal of the employer and approved and signed by the person in charge in the job place.
  • Three (3) recent personal photos with size (4x6), not taken in the military uniform.
  • Civil ID and a copy.
  • Copy of each of the service forms related after filling.
  • The passport and a copy.

Procedures

​Bring the required documents and proceed to the Central Medical Council at the Administration Complex in Shuwaikh, affiliated with the Ministry of Health, within Sabah Health Area, next to the Department of Overseas Treatment.​

​Fill out the medical examination forms.​

​Pay the required fees.​

​Proceed to have a blood sample taken for viral screening at the Central Medical Council.​

​Go to the hospital affiliated with your place of residence to carry out the other medical examinations.​

​After receiving the examination results, return to the Central Medical Council to complete the medical examination in order to determine your fitness for the job you have been nominated for.​
