Service Description

  • This service allows citizens to issue a replacement for lost/damaged Civil ID​.

Eligibility or Criteria

  • Replacement for lost/damaged documents can be processed through the Sahel application.
  • Alternatively, the applicant or his/her representative with a power of attorney from the Ministry of Justice may attend the procedures in person.​

Required Documents

  • Valid official proof of identity (original nationality certificate, passport, driver's license, or Kuwait Mobile ID App).
  • Two recent personal photos that meet specifications (for each individual aged 5 years and above).
  • For individuals under 5 years: Original birth certificate and a copy of it.
  • For individuals above 5 years: Original passport or nationality proof with a photo.

Procedures

​Visit the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) headquarters in South Surra – First Floor – Citizens and GCC Registration Office – Morning Shift – from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.​
