Communications are very important at Kuwait. In addition to the land phone lines provided by the Ministry of Communication, three communication companies compete in the Kuwaiti Mobile Communication Market. They are Zain Company, previously known as ( Mobile Telecommunications Company - MTC) ,ooredoo previously known as ( Wataniya Telecom ) and Kuwait Telecom Company (VIVA).
