Service Description

  • This service enables users to add a product to a facility’s activities without increasing the space of the designated parcel.

Eligibility or Criteria

  • Transaction fees must be paid.

  • The industrial license must be permanent and valid.

  • There must be no outstanding dues on the parcel to the Authority, and there must be no violations on the industrial license. (There must be no financial claims against the parcel owner.)

  • Compliance with all requirements set by the specialized governmental authorities in preserving the environment and public order.​

  • The addition requirements must comply with the Authority’s standards in this regard.

  • Approval of the Environment Public Authority for the product to be added.

  • Undertaking that the product complies with the specifications and standards determined by the laws and regulations issued in this regard.

  • Approval of the Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Interior if the activity to be added includes printing works.

  • Additional conditions in case the activity to be added is the same industrial activity: The product or activity must fall within the licensed activity of the establishment, provided that the product is within the same category as the primary activity of the industrial license, in accordance with the Unified Guide for the International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC), Use of not less than 50% of the same raw materials. Use of not less than 50% of the machines available in the industrial establishment, There must be no previous addition that has not been implemented unless the concerned parties submit a request for its cancellation, Applications for additions submitted by industrial establishments that have not commenced implementation of the granted license shall not be considered, unless it is proven that the requested addition enhances the feasibility of the project.   • Application for a technical and economic feasibility study
  • Determining if adding the product requires machinery first

4 If approved:
- The study will be submitted to the Reception and Follow-up Department, and then the fees should be paid and transferred to the Feasibility Evaluation Department..
- A memorandum will be prepared and submitted to the Director General for approval.
