Approval Request to Add a Product to a Facility without Expansion (without machinery)

Service Description

  • This service enables users to add a product to a facility’s activities without increasing the space of the designated parcel.

Eligibility or Criteria

  • The required fees must be paid.

  • The industrial license must be permanent and valid.

  • The parcel must not have any outstanding dues to the Authority, and the industrial license must not have any violations. (No financial claims must have been recorded against the parcel owner.)

  • The applicant must comply with all requirements set by the competent government agencies to preserve the environment and public order.

  • The addition must comply with the Authority’s standards for this purpose.

  • The applicant must undertake that the product meets the specifications and standards set by the laws and regulations issued in this regard.

  • The approval of the Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Interior is needed if the required activity includes printing work.

  • Other conditions to be applied if the industrial activity to be added is similar to the original activities: The product or activity must be included within the licensed activity of the facility, provided that the product is from the same section of the primary activity of the industrial license, according to the unified guide for the International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC), The use of the same raw materials must not be less than 50 %, The use of the existing machines in the industrial facility must not be less than 50 %, All previous addition requests must have been implemented unless the concerned parties had requested cancellation, Applications for addition submitted by industrial establishments that have not yet begun implementing the granted license will not be considered, It is not permissible to start commercial production unless it is proven that the required addition enhances the feasibility of the project, A proof that there are no violations recorded against the parcel license must be provided.

  • Additional conditions for activities other than industrial activities: All previous addition requests must have been implemented unless the concerned parties had requested cancellation, Applications for addition submitted by industrial establishments that have not yet begun implementing the granted license will not be considered, It is not permissible to start commercial production unless it is proven that the required addition enhances the project feasibility, A proof that there are no violations recorded against the parcel license must be provided, A proof that the activity meets the requirements of the facility’s primary activity for complementary materials must be provided, The products added should be within the purpose of the basic license only, Enough space should be available without requiring stakeholders to make any expansions or additions to the machines or equipment.
