Service Description

  • This service allows the business sector (companies and organizations) to issue an industrial trade license

Eligibility or Criteria

  • The applicant must have the Kuwaiti nationality or must be a citizen of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states 


  • The applicant must not be less than (21) years old at the request submission date  


  • The applicant must pay the fees due 


  • The applicant must not belong to the insured categories covered by the provisions of Article 3 of the Public Institution for Social Security Law, except for the companies' and private sector employees  


  • The workshop area must not be less than (60) square meters and the number of the machines must not be less than (10) machines at least, for the ready-made garment trade  


  • The total amount of the project investments must not exceed (50,000) fifty thousand Kuwaiti Dinars  


  • Note: The request is automatically deemed cancelled in case:


  • Fake documents, data, or information is detected

  • More than one year has passed since the application submission 

Required Documents

  • Copy of the civil ID
  • Letter from the Public Institution for Social Security
  • The company's articles of incorporation, for companies
  • Copy of the signature authorization or the official power of attorney
  • Bills of the equipment and machines price list and their catalogs
  • Technical educational and experience certificates, for the GCC Citizens
  • To Whom it May Concern certificate from the GCC applicant's embassy in Kuwait stating that he is not working in the Government Sector

Visit the Integrated Services Center of the Public Authority for Industry and submit the required documents
