Applicant must be one of the heirs.
Husband: Must be incapable of earning at the time of the wife’s death, proven by a decision from the Secretariat of the Medical Committee at the Institution.
Wife: Must be legally married to the deceased at the time of death.
Son: Must be unemployed and under 26 years of age, except in the case of those incapable of earning.
Student: A student in post-secondary education is eligible until reaching the age of 28, continuing disbursing the pension share until the end of the academic year for those reaching this age.
University graduate or equivalent: Must not have reached 28 years of age and must not be employed or engaged in an activity subject to Chapter V provisions.
Daughter: Must be unmarried at the time of death; the pension share is suspended in case of employment
Father: Must prove dependence on the deceased’s pension (son or daughter).
Mother: Must be divorced or widowed and unemployed.
Siblings: Must prove dependence on the deceased’s pension (their brother) during his lifetime, in addition to meeting the eligibility conditions of a son or daughter.
Grandchildren (sons/daughters of a son): Their parent must have died before the grandparent or while still entitled to a pension share as a primary beneficiary of the deceased’s pension.
