Service Description

  • This service allows citizens, residents, and visitors to issue medical assistant profession licenses to work in the private medical sector in the State of Kuwait

Eligibility or Criteria

  • The applicant must have a valid residence permit, for non-Kuwaiti applicants

Required Documents

  • For Kuwaiti and non-Kuwaiti applicants
  • Request to issue the license from the medical institution the applicant works in
  • Authenticated scientific qualifications, stating the date of issuance and the source
  • Authenticated certificate of practical experience
  • Four (4) personal photos for the applicant
  • Copy of the civil ID
  • Copy of the residence permit, for non-Kuwaiti applicants
  • Copy of the nationality certificate, for Kuwaiti applicants

Procedures

Visit the Medical License Department of the Ministry of Health and submit the required documents
Fill the service application form. Then, an appointment will be set for a personal interview, the test, and the test results
Pay the fees due
Note: You may pay the fees due using cheques provided that the cheques are certified by the bank
After passing the medical fitness check-up, the request will be presented to the Medical License Committee for approval on the license issuance. Then, all the details will be registered in the Issuance Register and the Task Register
