Service Description

  • This service allows residents and citizens to issuing personal licenses in the field of ionic radiation

Eligibility or Criteria

  • The applicant must not be less than (18) years old

Required Documents

  • Official letter from the employer to obtain a personal license indicating the applicant's name, field of work, and the ionic apparatus the applicant uses at work
  • Three (3) personal photos (4 × 3)
  • Copy from the fee payment receipt
  • Copy of the civil ID
  • Copy from the passport and the residency page, for non-Kuwaiti applicants
  • Authenticated scientific qualifications, stating the date of issuance and the source
  • Training certificates in the field of radiation work, if any
  • Professional license from the entity concerned
  • Previous experience certificates and period
  • Certificates of previous radiation dose the applicant is exposed to, if any

Procedures

Submit an official letter from the employer to obtain a personal license indicating the applicant's name, field of work, and the ionic apparatus or resource the applicant uses at work
Fill and sign the form of issuing a personal license to work in the ionic radiation field
The concerned section in the Department examines the request and notifies the applicant to complete any missing parts. After completing the request, it is presented to the Radiation Protection Committee
After presenting the request to the Radiation Protection Committee, personally receive the license or send your agent
If the request is rejected, an official letter is issued from the Radiation Protection Department stating the rejection reasons
