Confirmation of Faith in Islam Service

Service Description

  • This service welcomes individuals of all nationalities and religions who wish to embrace Islam. In addition, it targets those who wish to confirm their faith in Islam where all the needed procedures are performed for them along with presenting to them the Islamic Declaration of Faith Statement, necessary books, and Islam introductory publications.

Eligibility or Criteria

  • Attendance.
  • Filling a questionnaire form before converting to Islam.
  • Filling a pledge form to prove that the act of converting to Islam is done willingly and out of conviction.

Procedures

​The employee of the Islamic Declaration of Faith service shall register whoever wishes to confirm his/her faith in Islam in form number (11/1115).​

​The employee of the Islamic Declaration of Faith service shall introduce the Muslim convert to one of the Fatwa Authority members to confirm his\her faith in Islam through posing questions about some Islam rulings regarding praying, fasting, etc.​

​The employee of the Islamic Declaration of Faith service shall provide the convert with translated books he or she might need, and a delivery receipt of Islam Confirmation Statement Certificate in form number (10/1115) with the date set out herein.​

​The employee of the Islamic Declaration of Faith service shall print and submit Islam Confirmation Statement to the Head of Fatwa Affairs to review and submit via official channels to the Department manager to be approved and signed.​

​The original Islam Confirmation Statement shall be delivered to its owner by The employee of the Islamic Declaration of Faith service.​

​The employee of the Islamic Declaration of Faith service shall store a copy of the Islam Confirmation Statement in the archive.​
