Service Description

  • ​This service enables citizens to document a previously allocated housing unit (house, apartment, or plot) for the family after fulfilling the eligibility requirements.​

Eligibility or Criteria

  • The electricity supply must be connected to the plot so the duration required for issuing the deed can be calculated from the date of the lottery allocation.

  • If a minimum of five years has passed since the handover date, the deed will be issued with a mortgage, meaning the deed will remain mortgaged to the Savings and Credit Bank until the loan is fully repaid.

Required Documents

  • Civil ID of the service applicant and a copy.
  • Civil ID of the applicant’s wife or wives and copies.
  • Nationality document of the applicant’s wife and a copy.
  • Copies of the birth certificates of the applicant’s children.
  • A “To Whom It May Concern” certificate from the Savings and Credit Bank listing the names of the applicants, provided that no more than three months have passed since its issuance.
  • An account statement from the Ministry of Electricity.

Procedures

​Bring the required documents and visit the Distribution and Documentation Department at the Public Authority for Housing Welfare headquarters to complete the service.​
