Service Description

  • This service enables the issuance of an entry visa for domestic workers and persons of similar status.​

Eligibility or Criteria

  • ​N/A

Required Documents

  • The designated entry visa application form.
  • A copy of the sponsored person’s valid passport, provided that its validity period is no less than two years.
  • A copy of the sponsor’s Civil ID.
  • A recent salary certificate for government employees, or a copy of the work permit for a foreign sponsor.
  • A copy of the employment contract.
  • A copy of a driving license issued by the worker’s country of origin, where the domestic worker’s occupation is that of a driver.
  • Entry visas for domestic workers shall be granted to the following categories:
  • A divorced or widowed foreign woman of a Kuwaiti citizen who has children from him.
  • A Kuwaiti woman married to a non-Kuwaiti.
  • A family whose head is a GCC national, provided that such GCC national is residing in the country.

Procedures

The applicant shall bring the required documents and visit the General Department of Immigration to complete the service. ​

The visa application form and the security screening form shall be completed and signed by the authorized signatory, together with the sponsor’s declaration and undertaking confirming the accuracy of the information stated in the visa application. ​

The prescribed fees for the service shall be paid​
