Service Description

  • ​This service is dedicated for issuing new civil ID cards to holders of Article 20 residence permits, which applies to domestic workers.

Eligibility or Criteria

  • First time Registration of domestic workers through the electronic services available on the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) website:  www.paci.gov.kw or Sahel App.

  • The attached document and personal photograph must be clear.

  • A violation fine of 20 Kuwaiti Dinars is recorded and payable via the website www.paci.gov.kw if registration is delayed by more than 30 days from the residence issuance date.

Required Documents

  • Valid passport with clear data (the second page is required for Indian, Indonesian, and Nepalese passports).
  • Copy of passport expiry date if available on a separate page.
  • Recent personal photo meeting the specifications.
  • Blood type (if available).
  • Residence extract issued by the Ministry of Interior.

​First time Registration of domestic workers through the electronic services available on the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) website:  www.paci.gov.kw or Sahel App.​

​ Alternatively, visit the Authority's headquarters in South Surra – Ground Floor – Expatriate Registration Office – Morning Shift – from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
