Service Description

  • This service enables Kuwaiti citizens above the legal age of 21 years to renew their passports.

Eligibility or Criteria

  • ​Citizens with disabilities and citizens aged 65 years and above shall be exempt from the applicable fees, pursuant to Circular No. 159 of 2017.
  • Personal attendance of the person concerned shall be required.

Required Documents

  • One recent personal photograph, size 4 × 5 cm, with a blue background, in accordance with the approved photo specifications.
  • Personal attendance of the person concerned, together with the original Civil ID and a copy thereof.
  • Submission of the passport.

Procedures

The above-mentioned documents shall be submitted to the General Department of Nationality and Travel Documents or to one of the Citizens Service Centers.​

Variable fees​
3 KD Fixed Fees : for a validity period of five years. ​
6 KD ​Fixed Fees : for a validity period of ten years, for persons aged 30 years and above.
