Service Description

  • This service enables Kuwaiti citizens to obtain a replacement for a damaged passport.​

Eligibility or Criteria

  • ​The person concerned must attend in person at the General Department of Nationality and Travel Documents for completion of the necessary procedures to determine the cause of the passport damage.
  • Citizens with disabilities and citizens aged 65 years and above shall be exempt from the applicable fees, pursuant to Circular No. 159 of 2017.

Required Documents

  • The damaged passport.
  • A letter requesting the issuance of a replacement for the damaged passport.

Procedures

The above-mentioned documents shall be submitted to the General Department of Nationality and Travel Documents for approval by the Technical Office Department.​
