Change of Address for GCC Nationals

Service Description

  • This service allows citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to change their residential address registered in the Civil Information System.​

Eligibility or Criteria

  • The applicant, their guardian, or their legal representative with an official power of attorney from the Ministry of Justice must be present.

  • The address of the entire family must be changed (father, mother, and unmarried children).

  • If the house is owned by the father and both parties are GCC nationals, all GCC requirements must be provided.

Required Documents

  • Original civil ID cards and passports for all family members.
  • Two recent personal photos that meet specifications (for each individual aged 5 years and above).
  • Building (original lease contract and a copy) + property document.
  • Rental House (lease contract, a copy of it, and the owner's deed). + a copy of the owner's ID card
  • Residence declaration form signed by the applicant, listing the names of all family members included in the transaction.
  • Recent port-entry certificate confirming 3 months of presence in Kuwait.
  • Complete and certified employment declaration from the employer + signature verification for private sector employees.
  • For government employees:
  • Salary certificate or proof of continued employment.
  • Property deed.
  • Lease contract.
  • Valid passport.
  • For non-governmental employees:
  • Certificate from ports of entry confirming three (3) months’ presence.
  • Property deed.
  • Lease contract.
  • Valid passport.
  • For Kuwaiti spouses:
  • Owned property (property deed is sufficient).
  • Rented property (property deed + lease contract).

Procedures

​Bring the required documents and head to the Public Authority for Civil Information building located in Zahra, first floor, Citizens' Office.​

​Fill out the service forms.​

​Pay the fees due.​
