Service Description

  • This service enables female employees with a disability to request a leave after childbirth. 

Eligibility or Criteria

  • The beneficiary must be a Kuwaiti citizen or be treated as a Kuwaiti individual pursuant to a decision issued by the Ministry of Interior of the State of Kuwait.

  • This person must have a moderate or severe disability.

Required Documents

  • Civil ID card of the person with a disability, the newborn, and their birth certificate
  • Letter from a hospital (government or private) stating the date of birth

Procedures

The application must be submitted at the headquarters of the Public Authority for Disability Affairs in Hawalli, Block 11, Beirut Street, opposite Al Bayan Bilingual School, or at one of the Authority’s branches during the morning period from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.​
