Service Description

  • This service enables users to request hearing aids provided to people with hearing impairment

Eligibility or Criteria

  • The beneficiary must be a Kuwaiti citizen or be treated as a Kuwaiti individual pursuant to a decision issued by the Ministry of Interior of the State of Kuwait.

  • This person must have a moderate or severe disability.

  • The beneficiary is entitled to receive a hearing aid once every three years for those over the age of sixteen, and every two years for those under the age of sixteen.

  • Recent medical report

Procedures

​The application must be submitted at the headquarters of the Public Authority for Disability Affairs in Hawalli, Block 11, Beirut Street, opposite Al Bayan Bilingual School, or at one of the Authority’s branches during the morning period from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. ​
